The Village Hall holds an ‘umbrella’ license with MPLC which allows the non-commercial public screening of most films in the hall. There are conditions for its use which can be discussed with a member of the committee. Generally speaking, you cannot make any charge to view the film and the title must not be advertised to the general public. Check with us to see if the film you propose showing falls within the terms of the license. We will need to know the full title of the film and the full name of the distributor (usually shown on the reverse of the DVD case).
